The natural exit of the valley is the gorge of La Hermida, an impressive gorge of 20 km has been excavated by Deva River in the limestone of the Picos de Europa, which empties into the Bay of Biscay through the town of Unquera. Liébana is divided into several valleys, more important those of Camaleño, Vega de Liebana, Pesaguero and Cillorigo. Is another town in Liébana, called Tresviso, located outside the valley, where its famous Tresviso cheese is made. In the valleys, the most heavily populated is Camaleño, in which top is Fuente Dé, where a cable-car takes you to its top, almost a thousand meters to the viewpoint of the cable-car, a must for anyone who wants to feel close to the grandeur of the Picos de Europa.
